Sign the Petition at a Location Near You!

We are happy to announce our first group of permanent signing locations. These are businesses where you can sign the medical cannabis petition any time during their regular hours of operation. If you have been looking for an opportunity to sign but haven't encountered a petitioner yet, check out our map and find a location near you!

We know that there are many parts of the state where there are no permanent signing locations, and we hope to change that, but we can't do it without your help. If you own a business or know of a supportive business owner who would like to host a petition at their establishment, please contact me, and we will be happy to supply them with petitions, teach them how to gather signatures, and add them to the map.

Of course, this also requires financial resources to print petitions, keep our volunteer coordinators training new volunteers and signing locations, and, in the relatively near future, hiring a paid signature collection firm to supplement our volunteer effort and validate signatures. Help us keep the process moving forward by contributing $5, $10, $25, or $50 now!

In addition to our permanent signing locations, our volunteers have found voters eager to sign the petition. Here are just a few of our successes from across the state in the past few weeks.
  • In Springfield, on Saturday, February 25, volunteers collected nearly 800 signatures primarily at the Sertoma Chili Cook Off, where Springfield Springfield NORML Gathering Signatures at the Chili CookoffNORML asked people to both sign the petition and to try their chili.
  • In Columbia, volunteers mostly associated with Mid-MO NORML divided into teams to gather signatures at the True/False Film Festival on the weekend of March 3 and 4 and gathered over 1,200 signatures.
  • In Saint Louis, volunteers gathered nearly 1,000 signatures at the polls during the city's mayoral primary on March 7, including 400 signatures from volunteer Chris Chesley.
  • Just today in Kansas City, one team of volunteers collected at least 300 signatures at the Saint Patrick's Day Parade, a figure that will likely increase as more volunteers turn in their petitions from the day.
And our opportunities for signature collection only continue to multiply as we move into the spring: Municipal elections across the state, including major ones in Springfield, Kansas City (where a cannabis decriminalization measure will be on the ballot), and Saint Louis; opening day for both the Cardinals and the Royals; and Earth Day festivals will all present terrific opportunities to gather signatures in April alone!

But we need your help to take full advantage of those opportunities. If you are willing and able to gather signatures, please sign up as a volunteer here now, and please contribute according to your ability. Whether you can give $250, $100, $25, or even $3, it all helps push us towards the goal of safe, legal access for all Missouri patients!

Be the change you wish to see in the world and volunteer and contribute now!
